Every time we see a preview for another spiritless movie. Every time we walk past a poster for yet another sequel, remake or reboot. Every time that voice of movie wisdom inside us buzzes like an alarm detecting a thief. |

|
That burglar is Hollywood, and it’s our time, money and energy being taken. Not forcefully, just dishonestly. We’re being tricked, roofied and sweet talked into letting our guards down, into not listing to that inner voice, into believing the previews, into giving second chances only to be burned again. |

Back when Hollywood had spirit and soul it made movies that connected with our hearts, not just our wallets. |

It wasn’t so long ago that we had a Luke Skywalker and Yoda relationship with the movies. Today, it’s a Streetwalker and Pimp pairing. We’re being turned out, weekend after weekend, “Get your ass in there and pay for that movie you audience hoe!” |

With the recent announcement that Atari’s Missile Command is going to be made into a movie, it’s time to speak up. Enough is mutha F’n enough! It’s time to say, “Stop it Hollywood!” |
