Because Fox Searchlight is all about making “little” “meaningful” “pictures” that they know won’t make money but will bring critical praise and possible Oscar consideration. Though it would be hard to imagine any presenter at the Oscars saying, “And the Best Picture goes to Frontin!” Because it’s a drama it seems like it will take a Crash direction. |
